buyers. You can earn a home buying grant of up to $10,000 when you buy a home in Montgomery County, Texas using The Chappell Team as your agent. This grant is provided by The Chappell Team, not by Montgomery County, and it is money that you will receive from us at the closing table. We feel blessed to be one of the most successful real estate teams in The Woodlands, Texas area, and this is our way of giving back to the customers and clients who have made us successful.
So, here are the details… Enjoy our blog about local real estate information for free. Enjoy searching homes on The Woodlands-area Realtor MLS for free. When you are ready to start seeing homes, contact us and we’ll register you for the home buying grant. This is the process:
1. We’ll conduct a quick over-the-phone interview about your buying requirements and situation to confirm your eligibility and register you for the grant.
2. We’ll save your home search criteria in the MLS and have the MLS automatically send you new home listings that meet your criteria as soon as soon as they hit the market. You’ll see them when the Realtors do.
3. We’ll schedule a private, over-the-phone, 20 minute consultation with one of the approved home mortgage lenders. During this consultation, you will find out exactly what home price range you should be looking at based on your financial qualification and what you want your monthly payments to be.
4. We will help you find the perfect home in the perfect neighborhood for you and/or your family.
5. Upon closing on a home, you will receive the grant at closing in an amount based on the purchase price of your home. Here is the rebate schedule based on home price:
- $10,000 – $2,000,000 or higher
- $9,500 – $1,900,000
- $9,000 – $1,800,000
- $8,500 – $1,700,000
- $8,000 – $1,600,000
- $7,500 – $1,500,000
- $7,000 – $1,400,000
- $6,500 – $1,300,000
- $6,000 – $1,200,000
- $5,500 – $1,100,000
- $5,000 – $1,000,000
- $4,500 – $900,000
- $4,000 – $800,000
- $3,500 – $700,000
- $3,000 – $600,000
- $2,500 – $500,000
- $2,000 – $400,000
- $1,500 – $300,000
- $1,250 – $250,000
OK, now the wonderfully interesting terms of the rebate:
1. The Chappell Team serves as your agent at no cost to you, by making us your buyer agent.
2. Qualify for and close a loan through one of our approved Montgomery County Home Buyer Grant lenders.
3. The rebate amounts are based on a 3% cooperating agent commission. If the cooperating agent commission is less than this, then the amount will be reduced proportionally.
4. This is designed for those home buyers who become our clients by discovering this program on the internet. Unfortunately, we cannot offer it to existing clients or clients that we have established relationships with otherwise. You must register for this grant using our online form before upon calling us or visiting us the first time, which is why the registration part of the process is so important.
