We bought a David Weekly in Idlewood 24 years ago when this neighborhood was new. Because about 12 families moved in all at once, and our children were all close in age and played together all day, we made lifetime friends over night. The comments about no social life here made me smile in remembrance because we had huge block parties in the cul de sacs;tons of kids birthday parties, AND we had a 'supper club' where the 12 of us took turns hosting all the couples once every other month for a lovely dinner; on the off months we all went into Houston for dinner. Now, the kids have finished college/married and moved away and half of the 12 couples have moved, but for the first 15 years, we were all best friends and it was a sort of camelot experience. PS, our Weekly has been updated and will be for sale (**sniff sniff*) in the next few months as my husband and I will retire to the lake home we're building out of town. I can guarantee that this house is saturated with precious memories and many happy times....and it's ready to raise another generation.

Lot of new purchase money lending programs

I am an expert with Homepath Mortgages. That is a Fanniemae repo that only requires 3% down, no MI, no appraisal and is very stream lined and easy to do.

Jumbo money is back! We have Jumbo loans 90% LTV with no MI.

Our regular jumbo's go up to 2 mill, fixed APR for a 15 year was 4.8% yesterday. The 3,5, 7 and 10 year ARMs are a whole lot lower and can be paid out over 30 years.

If you need a preapproval fast, go to our website and fill in the application woodlandsmortgage.com then call us
